The Tickle Pink is our "place" when in this area of California. The view is incredible, beautiful accommodations, and terrific staff. Big Sur is one of the most beautiful places on earth, at least in my opinion. Every time I visit, the visions of the coast, the coolness of the fresh air, the sound of the waves crashing against the coastline, the color of the water, and the feeling of freedom I experience never leave me ... Nepenthe is a great restaurant right on the Pacific Coast. Years ago, it had a '60's vibe. At the right time of year, you can whale watch while you dine.
