Chateau Whistler Golf Course, British Columbia, Canada. I was way too close to this bear! My husband was playing golf when I heard a noise, looked, and saw a black bear roaming through the patch of yellow flowers. I got out of the cart and started walking very slowly and closer (didn't have a 200-70 at the time). My husband kept whispering "Kathleen get back", I kept walking (probably not my most intelligent decision), and got this shot. Fortunately, the bear was much more interested in the yellow flowers and "The Blonde Photographer" ... {:o) Thank you all for visiting and for your gracious and appreciated comments! This bear was crabbing with great success as the tide was out exposing the rocks and hidden crevices.
