Lilli-pilli trees are a native Australian evergreen plant that can be grown as a tree or hedge and mine are currently flowering. There are multiple varieties and all bear edible fruit. That said, from the tree the fruit is usually tart and best used for jellies and jams.

The Lilly-pilly (also sometimes spelt "Lilli-pilli") is a small tree native to the east coast of Australia. It has become popular as a garden shrub and produces these flowers in early summer.
