CORRECTION: My friends have corrected me that these are Thin Pencil Orchids ( Dendrobium teretifolium ), The flowers are about 20-30mm across. See also PiPs.

With great excitement, some friends invited me to take some photos of some native Australian orchids they had located in a nearby nature reserve. CORRECTION: I had the ID as Pencil Orchids, but these are not quite that. My friends have advised me that these are Thin Pencil Orchids ( Dendrobium teretifolium ), which grow on parts of the east coast. The flowers are about 20-30mm across.
