Heading in

Although it may appear that this rocking tourist catamaran is about to drive onto the rocks, it is actually heading into the little harbour at Bermagui - no doubt to the relief of some passengers. :-)

Happy Bench Monday, have a good week everyone.

One of a number of rock pools developed along the Australian coast some years ago, this is the "Blue Pool" (and adjacent childrens' pool) at Bermagui, on the south coast of New South Wales.
Yes, there are a number of benches down there (maybe view large). Happy Bench Monday, everyone, and best wishes for the coming week.

Bermagui is a small town on the south coast of New South Wales. It first made its name as a base for game fishing offshore, but now is a popular holiday destination. That's hardly surprising, with locations such as this bench in a park.
Happy Bench Monday and have a good week, everyone.

The "Blue Pool" at Bermagui opened in 1938 and has since been highly recognised as a great place for a visit and swim. A pity the weather was grey when I took this (and the PiPs), some prior images on ipernity here.
With another week almost gone, I wish everyone a Happy Fence Friday followed by a great weekend.

Best viewed large. The mountain in the background is now known by its original Aboriginal name of Gulaga - when Captain Cook mapped the east Australian coast he named it Mt Dromedary.
Happy Bench Monday and have a good week, everyone.

Game fishing boats awaiting hire in the boat harbour at Bermagui on the NSW south coast. Bermagui has been very popular for deep water offshore game fishing for many years.
I'm afraid my hoped-for tour to capture more silo art has had to be deferred. The first major stop on my trip was to visit family in Melbourne, but there I became a covid contact - and it seemed prudent to defer the silo art trip until later. (I've since tested clear of covid).
Happy Fence (Fishing) Friday, have a great weekend everyone.

Not the best weather or time of day for this image - I shall have to return (maybe in summer for a dip).

Down the stairways to the Blue Pool, one of several ocean pools made on rocky headlands on Australia's east coast. The attached kids' pool seems to have been emptied for some reason. HFF and have a great weekend, everyone.

There is a stairway down the cliff near the Blue Pool. Of course, if going back up, you're heading heavenward, which leads to this musical link. HFF.

At the foot of the stairway seen in my previous image (and note). At this point we're nearing the Blue Pool (to come later). HFF and have a great weekend, everyone.
