I recently posted a photo of a fence at Bombo (PiP). This is the seaward side of the headland at the end of the fence. It is interesting for its geology, with a distinct change in the rock type visible, even better seen large. Of course, it also makes a good wall, so Happy Wednesday Wall, everyone.

This bench on Bombo Headland looks back toward Kiama. Happy Bench Monday and have a good week, everyone.

Bombo Beach is immediately to the north of Kiama. The harbour in my previous image is near the distant pines to the left of centre, while the main part of the town is behind the headland at centre. In the water, just someone on a jet ski. .

For part of the trip, the train between Kiama and Wollongong runs adjacent to the beach. This was taken from the train as it passed the beach at Bombo, with Bombo Headland standing out in the distance.
