My recent images have had some references to whale watching . Whales migrate up the eastern coast of Australia in August to calve in warmer waters, returning to the Antarctic area about November. This Southern Right Whale (Eubalaena australis) apparently calved in our local bay, causing quite a degree of local excitement.
