font and cover of 1647. only the porch is unlocked, you can't access the church, like so many hereabouts.

the church seems to have an early c14 core and a c15 tower, though all very heavily restored by t.h.wyatt in the mid c19 . two things to note about even big churches round here, they don't have clerestories, and they are mostly locked.

big c15 porch tower over the south entrance. the door to this was open, the church locked.

lychgate with room over seen from the churchyard, built 1448, with much c17 work . the balusters onto the stairs were probably originally open. the cottage adjoining is late c16.

carving of a ?horse, prob. late c11 or early c12, now on an external wall of what was a chantry chapel, which stands seperately in the churchyard. reminds me of the agnus dei at water stratford.

the n.e.chapel was rebuilt as a norreys chantry in 1446, the chancel redone by t.h.wyatt in 1859

lychgate with parish room over, 1448, with much c17 work . a picturesque entry to the churchyard.

the entrance to the churchyard is through this lychgate of 1448, which has a room built above it, possibly for a chantry priest. several c17 alterations are evident, such as the oriel window.
