founder +1144 rahere's tomb of c.1405, much restored with coade stone. two more bays with a wide doorway used to exist to the east.

rahere the founder died in 1145, this tomb dates from about 1400. the same design originally extended further east across the next arch, with a wide doorway with door set under the next 2 gables.
