Alexandria These three stone pyramids near Bonhill Bridge in Alexandria, Scotland were built using red sandstone from the 1898 bridge piers. They serve as a commemorative feature, with one of them originally incorporating a plaque marking the opening of the 1898 Bonhill Bridge. Behind them, there four gas lights (only two visible in the photo) that once stood on the bridge’s piers.

Alexandria The listed Smollett Fountain is an important historic landmark for Alexandria sitting at the junction of Main Street and Bank Street. The Fountain’s origins date back to the 1870s. The Town Centre Masterplan identified the need and desire to see it restored and its surroundings upgraded so it can once again become a focal point for the town. Alexandria station in Dunbartonshire, Scotland is situated in the middle of a roundabout. Link to Alexandria Station on Google Maps . The only other stations I have encountered that are in the middle of roundabouts are Beckton Park and Cyprus both part of the Docklands Light Railway network in East London. ---------- Alexandria railway station serves the town of Alexandria, Scotland.
