Alexandria These three stone pyramids near Bonhill Bridge in Alexandria, Scotland were built using red sandstone from the 1898 bridge piers. They serve as a commemorative feature, with one of them originally incorporating a plaque marking the opening of the 1898 Bonhill Bridge. Behind them, there four gas lights (only two visible in the photo) that once stood on the bridge’s piers.

Alexandria The listed Smollett Fountain is an important historic landmark for Alexandria sitting at the junction of Main Street and Bank Street. The Fountain’s origins date back to the 1870s. The Town Centre Masterplan identified the need and desire to see it restored and its surroundings upgraded so it can once again become a focal point for the town.
