Where the Carpets for the 'RMS Titanic' were made - Three Times! Templeton’s former carpet factory on Glasgow Green, its façade modelled on the Doge’s Palace in Venice, carries an unlikely Titanic footnote. The mill made money from the liner three times: carpeting the ship, then James Cameron’s film, and again when flooding on the movie set ruined the first batch and the studio had to reorder. Today the building houses offices, studios and event spaces as part of the Templeton Business Centre.
