This museum had survived fairly precariously for a number of years. Although plans to reopen it were being worked on, it appears that these have been thwarted by the area becoming part of the Cross Rail programme. Scanned from a 35mm print. 19.11.2012 - Spurred on by a sudden interest in other Y5 photos in my Photostream, I realised that I hadn't tagged this photo very well or included LNER Y5 in its title. I then got to wondering where it now was. Answer - thanks to a quick Google - The Flour Mill Engineering Works at Lydney in Gloucestershire, where it awaits restoration.
