Another impressionistic moment of Photoshop madness! Solarization and saturation combined with a somewhat dubious caption! A groyne, for those unfamiliar with the term, is another word for a breakwater, used on beaches to reduce the movement of sand or shingle. The groynes on this beach have been broken down and worn away by the sea without being repaired or replaced. The original, untouched photo is next to it. www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/32187757

A small group of four photos of three pre-grouping railway carriages, that used to be at Winchelsea Beach, in around 2005-6. I haven't been there recently, but the last time I was there, I seem to remember that the area had been smartened up. Whether any of these found their way back to a preservation group I don't know.
