This lovely interaction took place on the bridge over the River Ouse in Lewes. I have no idea what journey the young man was on. I did wonder if his little companion was ever let off its lead. Cats are so much more independent than dogs and might have disappeared had it been let loose.

The current resident of this house has a collection of scores, if not hundreds of china and pottery cats mounted on his garden wall. He was delighted when Bec offered to decorate the end wall with yet another, rather larger, cat.

This, neighbours', tabby watched, as I took photos of a friend's delightful cottage garden.

Yes that is the way our neighbours spell their cat's name K@ ! Misty is unfortunately no longer around, succumbing to a road accident, while still quite young.
