had seen many large Dragon flies, but this looks more like the Black Swallowtails which flit so fast they are under the radar! SOOC © All rights reserved

clouds ... rain .. bright & dark .. these photos were taken while the sky was awesome .. sun rays just spilling out of the clouds .. and then rain clouds .. so glad the towel was still in the car .. certainly got used ! other than the ID, this is what was captured.. SOOC ©SD All Rights Reserved

Florida blue skies should not be defective with these black 'things' .. It spoils the view .. How can I take a shot between those power lines.. Underground ! Yes, I vote for them to go Underground ! ^cropped for size only ^no enhancement ©SD All Rights Reserved

.. black bench outside a recreation center .. like the red next to it and shrubs behind .. But..... then I saw him ! .. said he would move over and share the space .. this bench is for waiting .. children waiting for parents to pick them up after swimming .. many recreational activities after school, so these are very utilitarian benches .. the red ? .. think it might be for trash, but did not get out and inspect it ! ©SD All Rights Reserved

only two of multiple vultures .. arrived for the road-kill .. it was there on Saturday night .. still there on Sunday, so they came in to do what they are designed to do ... fascinating creatures and the part they play in Nature .. although they soar, white feathers showing as they glide above .. when they get down here, not handsome at all .. -- from Vultures in Florida "The black vulture is approximately twenty-two inches in height and weighs 3.8 to 5.1 pounds.
