Statue of James Connolly, one of the primary participants in the Easter Rising of 1916, outside the Falls Community Council. The base reads: Trade union organiser, Socialist, Internationalist and one of the leaders of the Easter Rising in 1916. Connolly along with his family lived among the working people of Belfast and helped organise Catholics, Protestants and dissenters to fight together for the common class interests. Born in Edingurgh 5 June 1868, he was executed by firing squad in Kilmainham Gaol, Dublin, 12 May 1916, for his part in the Easter Rising.

Peadar Whelan, our walking tour guide from Coiste , an organization of/for former IRA prisoners. At the rear of the Garden of Remembrance in the Falls Road is a monument in memory of the volunteers of D Company who died of natural causes. The mural behind shows a map of how the area looked at the time of the curfew of 1970, when dozens of little streets intersected throughout the area, making it possible for people to run through from one street to another when fleeing the police or the army. Soon after, the British government undertook "slum clearance" and knocked down swaths of housing, replacing it with council housing and a new street pattern of many dead ends without the through streets.

This canvas tarp has a poem by Bobby Sands and the faces of the ten IRA prisoners who died on the hunger strike in the Maze Prison in 1981. It hangs on the side of the Belfast Public Library in the Falls Road.

This is part of the International Wall in Divis Street that was repainted in 2016 by Danny Devenny for the marking of the centenary of the Easter Rising of 1916. In 1974, the British Army used CR gas, a toxic chemical agent, on prisoners in the Long Kesh Prison.

This is part of the International Wall in Divis Street. On the left with the typewriter is Winifred Carney, secretary and aide to James Connolly. She was with him in the GPO in Dublin as a non-combatant during the Easter Rising and documented his words and what was happening. In the middle is Kieran Nugent, the first "blanketman" in the Maze Prison during the "no wash" campaign. IRA prisoners were protesting in order to be recognized as political prisoners, allowed to wear their own clothes and be housed separately from the other felons in the prison. Next to him is Mairead Farrell, one of the Gibraltar Three who were killed by British military forces in Gibraltar in 1988. On the right are Bobby Sands and the other nine prisoners who died in the hunger strike in the Maze Prison in 1981.
