New pieces have been added to the tree over the past week. My addition is the red piece on the left. As I was sewing it on, lots and lots of people came along on the bike path. The only comment I got was "Nice work." I agree. Along the bike path by the Hampton Avenue parking lot. I learned a couple things from my initial foray as a yarn stormer: (1) you should knit your street furniture cosies an inch narrower than the diameter of what you're covering, and (2) if you knit something with bulky wool, it's gonna get heavy when it rains and will slide down whatever bit of metal it's attached to. So, I've repositioned my wee cosy in a place where it can't drop to the pavement. See where this picture was taken. [?]
