On a Winter´s Day

The original photo was taken on January 15, 2016 – the last real winter day in Baden-Baden that I can remember.
While I'm working here, it's 33°C outside.
Seven of these cast-iron candelabras are standing in front of the Kurhaus in Baden-Baden.
They are gas-powered and manually switched on in the evening and off again early in the morning.
I haven't been able to determine their actual age yet, but they are shown on postcards from 1899.
Gas lighting was introduced in Baden-Baden in 1846.
A few years ago, one of these candelabras was destroyed in an accident.
The reconstruction cost €200,000.
