Yesterday started off damp and miserable, but by late morning the sunshine had come out and it was lovely and warm, so we headed off to Bognor Regis in West Sussex. Whilst my wife wandered round the shops, I headed to the beach. The tide had started to go out and the water was leaving some nice shapes in the sand, so I decided to photograph some. Taken at Petworth House and Park in Sussex, a National Trust property. There were lots of deer out and about, but mostly quite a distance away and lying down in the long grass. The stags are not in the best of condition due to the exertions of the rut. Overall though, I got a few images I was happy with and it was a very enjoyable day..........with a lot of walking :-)

Taken at Stansted Park, West Sussex and showing Stansted House, an Edwardian mansion which stands in 1800 acres of parkland and ancient forest within the South Downs National Park. Due to Covid 19 the house and the grounds immediately surrounding it are closed until Easter 2021 but the rest of the park and the forest remain open to the public, Happy Fence Friday to you all. Spotted this a while ago on the sea front at Hove. I believe it's an ex-military Green Goddess fire engine.........converted to a caravan! I would have loved to have seen inside, but there was no one around.
