Viewed from Broadmarsh Coastal Park on a hazy morning in January. This was cropped to 16;9 format, so probably best viewed large!

Looking out over Langstone Harbour from Broadmarsh Coastal Park. Such a cold, but beautiful day. Best viewed large. Thanks for looking.

Aggregates Wharf, Bedhampton

This wharf and storage site is situated right on the edge of a local coastal park. It's been there ever since I can remember and does a roaring trade in marine dredged aggregates. Although it's a bit of an eyesore it can also be quite photogenic (if you like that sort of thing) and it doesn't seem to bother the wildlife. You can see a barge and it's towing boat moored up at the moment. Best viewed large, I think. In the PiP is another shot I took of it about 10 years ago if you're interested.

Swanning around.

A rather grubby looking swan and it's reflection on the edge of Broadmarsh Coastal Park in Hampshire. Better viewed large, I think. Thanks for looking. I shall be going away on a short break to visit family later today. I'm taking my laptop though, and if I have time I shall continue to post my daily photos. I shall also try and visit your photo streams, but will probably just leave a yellow star instead of commenting, just to let you knowI've been around.

Just Swanning About!

Taken last Thursday at Broadmarsh Coastal Park near Havant, Hampshire. The sun was very harsh and difficult for photographing white birds, but I think this one turned out OK. I like the way it has it's eyes closed while it sorts out an itch on the top it's head :-))

Post Sunset at Broadmarsh Coastal Park (+PiPs)

10 Feb 2022 20 22 278
The last three images (two in the PiPs) from my sunset shoot at the end of January, taken from Broadmarsh Coastal Park looking towards Portsmouth. All three feature a small pebbled spit of land which is the last to be covered up by the incoming tide on which there is a wreck of a small boat. Thanks for looking.

After I had taken some photos of the sunset at Langstone Harbour last week, I went back to the car park and was just about to put my camera away in the boot when I glanced behind me and spotted this view. So, out came the camera again for a final shot. I hope you like it as much as I did. Thanks for looking.........have a lovely day!

This is on the edge of a local Coastal Park. There is always something going on there and I think it is rather photogenic.
