Last minute decision to try for the sunset at Langstone tonight. Unfortunately, the tide was out but I found these rotting wooden remains in the mud which I thought made for some good foreground interest. Portsmouth skyline in the background.

Went for a walk on the foreshore at Emsworth tonight with my wife. Not much of a sunset, but for half an hour after sunset it was quite pleasant.

Taken from along the stretch of coastal path between Hartland Quay and Speke's Mill Mouth on the Hartland Peninsula. Shortly afterwards the heavens opened and we took a good soaking! I'm reliably informed that this is all part of the joys of landscape photography :D

This was pretty typical of the weather that dogged us for most of the weekend - except that this was taken during one of the short periods that it wasn't raining!! If you look very carefully on the horizon just to the right of Lundy Island you can see someone standing on top of the rocks..................

Didn't have to do a great deal to convert this to black and white..........this is pretty much how it looked in the awful weather!

Unfortunately there is no public access to the lighthouse, so we had to content ourselves with this view!
