On the small Twisted Hazel tree in my garden.

Showing the leaves and the distinctive male catkins hanging in tiered clusters. Male and female flowers are on separate catkins, but on the same tree. The female catkins will appear in the spring. There is a closer view of the catkins in the PiP. These were taken in a local cemetery.

There has been a lot of tree felling on Skye and this tree, up on a ridge really stood out! All of us took similar shots of it!

Not getting out much of late.......shift work sucks! So reduced to taking photos in the garden!! No idea where these daffs came from - I didn't plant them :)

Little boy, big tree!!

I think this view has real potential and I intend to revisit it in better weather - especially with some decent cloud formations.

Better late than never..............
