Taken at Hayling Island, Hampshire. This surfer (on some sort of electrically controlled surfboard) was the only person I saw out on the water. There are some vessels just visible along the horizon, but generally visibility was not good. It didn't take much effort to make this this black and white :-)))

Somewhere inside that wave is a windsurfer. Luckily he got himself to the surface and his mate helped him drag the board and sail out of the surf. Please view large, on black.

I took this during a brief break in the dull grey clouds and was lucky enough to get the sunlight shining through the sail of the surfer's board.

Exmouth beach........went out to try and get some shots of the body-boarders, but they were too far out and the light was going! Had to content myself with this instead :)
