I think it was probably raining when I made this image, so I was stuck indoors...........just experimenting..!!

My wife often says she thinks I've lost my marbles.........but it's not true, here they are :-))) I even have a back and white set (see the PiP for proof)! Have a great week everyone..........

Taken for the Macro Dreams Challenges group latest theme: Wavy Lines. This is part of a glass vase with coloured wavy lines made from raised glass on the outside. Once I'd taken the photo however the close up view showed that the glass was badly scarred from all the use it's had and it didn't look very nice............so I decided to disguise the scarring by over-exposing it and adding a texture. I then changed the colours and made the whole thing into an abstract. I hope you like it. Also fits into the following previous challenges: Yellow, Lines, Stripes or Ridges, Glass, Five or more.

...........and as they saying goes, "it's no use crying over spilt milk" ;-)) A extra one from me today primarily for the Macro Dreams Challenge group, on the theme Bottle of Milk. Would also fit into the following previous challenges: End on, Black and White, Glass Circles or Curves. I used a "mini" milk bottle for the shot, so this is about twice life size.

Taken for the latest challenge in the Macro Dreams Challenges group: Theme Electric Bulb. It also fits the following previous challenges: Circles or Curves, The inside of something, Glass, I dropped the bulb whilst taking the photo and the filaments inside have broken, so now it doesn't work :-(

These glass and metal knobs look like they've come from an old dressing table or something similar. My wife found them in either a charity shop or a car boot sale years ago thinking they might come in handy one day. She was right (as usual)..!! Another image of the broken glass panel on the Adur Ferry Bridge. This time I've added a texture to give it an abstract look, which I quite like. I hope you do too. Please view large, on black for best effect. Thanks.

This is a close up of one of the broken glass panels on the Adur Ferry Bridge, Shoreham-by-Sea, There have been ongoing problems with the panels cracking like this.............investigations have shown that while a couple have probably been vandalised, the main causes seem to be inclusions in the glass material and failure at the fixings. Work to replace the glass and remedy the problems is ongoing.............. Meanwhile.............they make a good subject for us photographers :-)

..............if Superman goes anywhere near these kryptonite benches in Exeter he'll be in trouble :-))
