Hello everyone from steampunk on LiveJournal. Unfortunately, the current way the community is set up does not allow for active participation and discussion anymore (it use to be not as heavily moderated). To that end, feel free to ask any questions here or in my LJ.

This is what I was originally going to do for the corset. In the late 19th c, there are several references and extant examples of corsets with elastic in them designed by doctors. I loved the idea of belts on the sides with hot pink elastic siding. When I put it together, it fit but I needed more belts on the sides. Deciding that, as neat as it would look like that, it just wasn't me; I instead put in "real" sides and then next few pictures show the finished corset.
