When we looked around this morning there were little footprints all over the yard.

Last month's high winds dismantled our trellis. We'll fix next spring.

Signed a contract last week to replace this with a real front porch, to be built in March or April next week (!). We're looking forward to it. The sharp-eyed will notice that we've removed a couple bushes in anticipation of the project. ================================= No sooner had I posted this picture than the doorbell rang. The contractor's decided to start on Monday. That could be an interesting development.... Two weeks later: Still no progress. I'd say they've come to their senses, but I know better.
