Supposed Kansas Capitol

Kansas' second attempt at a constitution was written here. It was written in response to an anti-slavery constitution written in Topeka.
The rejection of both the Topeka and Lecompton constitutions by the US Senate was a contributory factor to the start of the US Civil War.
Kansas Congressional Roof

I have come to the conclusion my efforts to see all the state capitols are jinxed. I made a special effort to fly to Topeka, and they're gutting the place.
I mean jeepers. All I wanted was a picture of the inside of the Kansas rotunda, but couldn't get it. Now I've got to come up with another dumb reason to go if I want to get the picture.
Incidentally, the is the roof the Kansas Congress meets under.
