HBM from the Firth of Forth Die Forth Bridge ist eine zweigleisige Eisenbahnbrücke über den Firth of Forth, die im Gegensatz zu dem bis dahin verwendeten Schmiedeeisen vollständig aus Stahl hergestellt wurde. Sie ist seit Eröffnung einer neuen Straßenbrücke nur für Fußgänger und Biker nutzbar. Noch etwas weiter landeinwärts liegt die Brücke Queensferry Crossing, eine Schrägseilbrücke, auf der seit dem 30. August 2017 der M90 motorway über den Firth of Forth führt (siehe PiP).

Welcome to Lochend Park - HBM everyone Lochend Park is a public park and was originally the grounds of Lochend Castle, part of the feudal lands of Robert Logan of Restalrig. The original castle was replaced by Lochend House in 1810 which also doesn't exist any more. The loch with its wide range of waterfowl is the main attraction, but there are also historical buildings, i.e. the old waterhouse and a 16th-century doocot which is Category B listed. The doocot (dovecot) was erected to supply pigeons to Lochend Castle and still today they are breeding there Lochend Loch served as Leith's main water supply from around 1650.
