This was me at the Shawnee National Forest back in November 4th, 2020. I was shooting with about 7 different cameras that day, so I asked a tourist couple if they would use one of them and take a picture of me with Camel Rock in the distance. This particular park area is called Garden Of The Gods.

Hell's Half Acre

Hell's Half Acre is a rock formation with deep ravines and caves located about 40 miles west of Casper, Wyoming. Apparently this was some kind of little souvenir stand that was nearby. My late Mother's brother lived in Casper, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was taken by her mom, my Grandmother Lolove Wright, on a trip through there. I know they visited Yellowstone National Park on July 14th 1954, so this could have been taken during that same trip.

Located in the Garden Of The Gods park in the Shawnee National Forest area of Southern Illinois. This particular rock formation is called Camel Rock because, well.... it looks just like a camel.
