This was the Holiday Inn Express I stayed at in Evanston, Wyoming back on February 8th, 2008. I was bringing my brother's wife to stay with me for a year while he was overseas in the Air Force. It was a long ardurous journey to reach this place due to a blizzard that shut down the interstate in Nebraska. But, by taking the "scenic route," we finally made it.

This was a motel in Nebraska that I stayed at one night while bringing my brother's wife to stay with me for a year while my brother was overseas in the Air Force. It was a long ardurous journey to reach this place due to a blizzard that shut down the interstate in Nebraska. But, by taking the "scenic route," we finally made it. This particular area in the motel was a little nook tucked away along the hallway on the floor where our rooms were located.

Remember when these distinctive and iconic Holiday Inn signs were everywhere? A welcome sight to a weary traveller. I know my family stayed at Holiday Inns a lot whenever we were travelling. I remember their slogan at the time was, "Your Host from Coast to Coast." We even stayed at this one.
