This is the label I designed for my homemade strawberry wine.

Red Red Wine

I had a batch of strawberry wine fermenting and last night it was finally ready to bottle and finish. It produced 25 uniformly equal bottles of red, red wine.

Blackberry Wine

I bottled my latest batch of blackberry wine today, March 15th, 2023 and I got 20 bottles. This is what some of them looked like. They're bottled in green bottles, like was suggested, but I think the essence of the blackberry color still comes through with the light behind it.

Dandelion Wine

I had the labels I designed for my homemade dandelion wine professionally printed with adhesive backings. They just peel off and stick right on the bottle. I think they turned out pretty nice! In this picture, I hadn't marked a little "2022" at the very top with a silver Sharpie. That way it would be easy tell the vintage.

Seeping The Dandelion Flowers

I started a fresh batch of dandelion wine today, first by picking the flowers and then pouring boiling water over them to seep for two days. The recipe I use is from the Middle Ages and is known as "Midday Dandelion Wine," because you were supposed to pick the flowers at midday when they were fully open. The amount of dandelion flowers needed is two quarts for a batch. I ended up picking enough flowers, 5 quarts, to do 2 and a half batches; which should make enough for about 13 regular-sized bottles of wine. I always love projects like these with a history to them! I would have probably made a good peasant.
