This was the fourth oil painting I ever did. I'm up to seven now, but I've only been painting with oils for 21 years.

I was in a painting mood today and finally finished an oil painting that I had started last Summer. This is it.

This is my favorite oil painting that I own. It's by an artist named "De Peck," and as of yet, have not been able to find out any biographical information. If anybody is familiar with their name or work, please let me know.

I'm no painter and this was only the second oil painting I ever did, but it does show one of my favorite places from one of my favorite movies, "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind."
