Zucchini Bread

I was going through my freezer, and at the bottom I found this frozen loaf of zucchini bread that my Mother had made. Now, she passed away ten years ago, so this loaf was at least 10 years old. Probably more likely 11-12 years old. I thawed it and it tasted great and was still moist. Thanks, Mom - I'm keeping your memory alive.

The Professor looked down at the frog, who was obviously in distress. "I think he has a virulent case of Frog Pox."
Lifeline kneeled down and opened his first aid kit. "I'll be the judge of that. Please, just step back and allow him some room to breathe."

Minolta X-370 No. 2
| 20 May 2020 |

On Monday, there was a package that arrived in the mail with four used Minolta camera bodies. This Minolta X-370 was one of them. The auction I won said that all four bodies didn't work, but this one just had the dreaded "bad capacitor" issue. I soldered a new capacitor in it and now it works perfectly! Since I only paid $30 for all four cameras, that means this one was a bargain at $7.50. The other three that came with this one was a Minolta X-300s, a Minolta Maxxum 7000 and a Minolta XG-7, which also works because I took this picture with it.

Antique Sauce Bowl

This is an antique sauce bowl I found downtown at a local antique store. It’s got gold leaf edges and you can see the two holes at the top for pouring out of. I got the camera on Monday, along with three other Minolta camera bodies, shot with it yesterday, then developed the film today.

Vanishing Susan

This is one of the last of the Black-Eyed Susans still hanging on in my yard. As a matter of fact, there were only two flowers in my yard this week, this one and a small rose, so there wasn't much in the way of flower subjects to choose from for the challenge this week. For the Saturday Self-Challenge group, whose theme this week was "Flowers Straight Out Of The Camera."
Taken with my Russian camera – a Zenit ET. It was taken to test my Sears 50mm prime lens on the Zenit body. Other than processing the film, there was no other post-processing used to get it to look like this - it's basically straight out of the camera, except for reducing the size for the internet. Unfortunately, I had to leave the bug bite holes in the leaves, as I wasn't allowed to clone them out.
