This building used to house the glove factory that used to be here in town. For about a month, when my family moved to Norris City back in 1974, my Mom worked at the glove factory. She did this to help bring in an income until Dad’s electric motor repair shop could get established. I don’t think the glove factory lasted past the 1970s. This disposable camera was one I bought back in 2013 and I’m finally getting around to using it. You can’t use a camera you got at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum, in Springfield, Illinois, just anywhere! These are a couple tomato plants I’ve been growing in my library since last July 2022. They're starting to have a few tomatoes ripen and in fact, I picked the first three just last week. It’s been a fun experiment and now there are dozens of blooms and at least a dozen or so tomatoes getting bigger and bigger and ready to ripen. An experiment I can really sink my teeth in! Back about a dozen years or so, my sister was moving and she came across about a half-dozen disposable cameras she had shot. I told her I would get all the pictures developed for her if I could keep the cameras for my collection. This is one of two Fuji disposable cameras she had. I was trying to take this one apart so I could reload it and use it, and the lens fell out on the shag carpeting. I still haven't been able to fine it! But, I do have another camera just like this one, so I could borrow that lens when I get around to using this one.

I honestly don’t know what happened here. Sometimes when using and developing your own film, you can’t always get what you want. A little disposable 35mm camera I picked up a few years ago - I got two of them at the same time. I finally got to use the first one.

One year, I photographed the fire truck on the right. This time I picked the Ford Model A. When I was real young, I loved riding in these kinds of rides. So I loaded up my little LPS disposable with a new roll of film and started shooting with it again yesterday. Who says these are one-time-use only?

Another used disposable (one-time-use) camera I added to my collection. Given to me by a friend. (After I removed their exposed roll of film first.) I have reloaded some disposables before and shot with them a second time, so if I'm going to be able to say I shot with this one, it'll have to be in a reloaded condition seeing as how I didn't buy it originally.
