Yashica-44a TLR

06 Mar 2015 1 10 541
I'm so excited because I just won an auction on eBay for a really good Yashica-44a twin lens reflex. What's good about this particular camera, is that it takes 127 film. So, the resulting negatives should be pretty good. I've read that these particular cameras take really sharp pictures. The image above is from the camera manual. I was talking to my sister the other day and telling her I wished that I had a better 127 camera than the ones I have. Basically, they're all cheap plastic or bakelite cameras with cheap plastic lenses. A 127 negative is pretty good sized, so if a person had a good camera, the negatives should turn out sharp as a tack. I went browsing through some of my links for places that sell 127 film and on one of them, they pictured a TLR camera very much like this one. That got me to looking for one and I found this Yashica.
