I bought a couple new cookbooks at a resale shop on Wednesday, so last night I made this dish from a recipe that was in one of them. The book was called "The Frugal Gourmet Cooks Three Ancient Cuisines - China, Greece and Rome." Taken on February 15th, 2024, with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR.

This is what I fixed for dinner tonight - chicken alfredo spaghetti. I had some chicken and wanted something different, so I used alfredo sauce instead of regular pasta sauce to pour over the spaghetti noodles, and chicken instead of meatballs. I started with the idea that a small amount of chicken could be enough to start a dish with. So, I used one small chicken thigh to make some stir fry. Taken with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR today, on May 9th, 2022.

This is the final dish, cooked and then served over a bed of rice. Even though I used a lot less chicken than normal, with a bouillon cube added in, it was enough to give it a good chicken flavor. Someday there might come a time when learning how to cut back and stretching your food stores to last longer might be a reality. Taken with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR today, on May 9th, 2022.

These are chicken strips coated with Cheese crackers and shredded cheese, then baked. Crunchy and cheesey on the outside, moist on the inside.

This is what I made for dinner tonight. Alfredo sauce over bow tie pasta and chicken, with a little bit of garlic and sweet basil to season it with. On top of it all, I sprinkled a little Parmesan cheese. It's the best tasting thing I've made in a week or two!

I came across this older picture taken on July 17th, 2008 and thought, "Man, those look good!" So I thought I ought to post it.
