I passed into Iowa at exactly 3.28 p.m. on February 9th, 2008. I'm pretty sure I'd been there before, though. Taken with my Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D DSLR.

This was the Ramada Inn I stayed at in North Platte, Nebraska back on February 9th, 2008. I was bringing my brother's wife to stay with me for a year while he was overseas in the Air Force. It was a long ardurous journey to reach this place due to a blizzard that shut down the interstate in Nebraska. But, by taking the "scenic route," we finally made it.

This particular area in the motel was a little nook tucked away along the hallway on the floor where our rooms were located.

I stayed here back in 2008 while bringing back my brother's wife to stay at my house while he was stationed overseas for a year while in the Air Force.

This is the Deluxe Inn, located in Nebraska City, Nebraska. I stayed there on February 5th, 2008, on the way to pick up my brother's wife in Utah. As my brother-in-law and myself were leaving this motel the next morning, the snow began to fall. We ended up driving down Interstate 80 into the worst blizzard they's had in about 14 years. I'm never going back to Utah again - at least not from this way. I might go up to it from below, but never down I-80 again.
