My late friend Jillian, a screen capture from an old video I shot around 30 years ago.

It's always a shock to find out a friend of yours has died. I came across her obituary just the other day. I didn't even know she had been ill. The last time I saw her, we went bowling, this picture was taken then.

My late mother wrote out this recipe and she got it from some friends and neighbors we used to have from out in Arizona. Lilly passed away a couple years ago, too. I cooked this recipe a couple nights ago in remembrance.

My late friend Kent, from high school. I tweaked it in some photo-editing software to make it look like an old photograph. But, since it was taken in 1978, I guess it's already old on it's own!

I had a bonfire and cookout in my backyard Saturday night and these are the friends that came over - Ian, Tim and Ginger, and Charity and Missy. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and enjoyed the fire. I even broke out some of my homemade wine and passed it around.

This is my friend Raven, who lives next door, riding the Casino Royale at Dairy Days today (September 26th, 2014). Her friends ran off and left her later on, so I hung out with her a little while to try and cheer her up.

Ginger, the birthday girl. I had Tim and Ginger, my friends and neighbors over tonight and we celebrated Ginger's birthday. We had the cake I made, plus some homemade wine I made a month or two ago.
