The biggest house in my little town. Nobody has lived in it for forty years or so. This camera came as a freebie that was thrown in with a lens I purchased. It didn’t have the battery door anymore, so I substituted one from a Pentax K1000 and it seemed to work. Taken with my forty-sixth camera. Once upon a time, somebody lived here and experienced life. And left behind memories. Taken with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR, on November 27th, 2017.

The Wakeford House was built in 1877 here in my town of Norris City, Illinois. The town itself wasn't incorporated until 1901, so I find the fact that this house is older than the town to be quite fascinating. As far as I know, it's the oldest house here.
