5597 at Hornsby loco depot. It is using the original type of tender for this class, which was attached for a railfan trip. They were usually fitted with the turret tender used by the 53 cl and many 50 cl locomotives. In the evening it will work a freight to Chatswood and St Leonards.

They were usually fitted with the turret tender used by the 53 cl and many 50 cl locomotives. In the evening it will work a freight to Chatswood and St Leonards. The vehicle in front of the loco is freight guards van. Occasionaly I saw a van with the loco but mostly this wasn't done.
