Inspired by 'The pineapple 1948' by Henri Matisse.

I have always loved the brilliant colours and quirkiness of Matisse's art, and have a print (from the National Gallery of Australia) of the abovementioned work, photo in comments.

Alphabet Z
In most English-speaking countries, including Britain, Canada, India, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia, the letter's name is zed /ˈzɛd/, reflecting its derivation from the Greek zeta (this dates to Latin, which borrowed X, Y, and Z from Greek, along with their names), but in American English its name is zee /ˈziː/, analogous to the names for B, C, D, etc., and deriving from a late 17th century English dialectal form.

Inspired by the Harris shutter effect, using GIMP colour layers.
The Harris shutter is a strip device with three color filters, invented by Robert S. "Bob" Harris of Kodak, for making color photographs with the different primary color layers exposed in separate time intervals in succession. The term Harris shutter is also applied to the technique or effect.
