Springtime action in the trees along Akerselva, one of the main rivers running though Oslo. Does anyone know if fieldfares and blackbirds have some kind of companionship or cooperation? The fieldfare is normally very aggressive towards intruders, but it didn't seem to mind that a female blackbird landed on its nest a little while after this shot was taken.The fieldfare was not on the nest just then, but not far away.
