Shooting..... Airfield
| 23 Feb 2026 |
|
|
Yesterday morning we did a photoshoot at the old Baracoa airfield.
The airfield has been closed for a few years, there's no more fuel and Baracoa is too far away for anyone to want to resume flight operations there.
I've only ever seen a plane land there once. There used to be regional air service between Baracoa and Havana, but it was discontinued before the pandemic.
The scenery is fantastic, but we made the mistake of arriving too late. There were already quite a few people there, so nude photography was very difficult, and we ended up having to stop.
I used my old portable flash system here for the first time in four years, and then I also had a few technical problems.
What do you think of the pictures? Please let me know; it would be a great help.
I think I'll do some more photography here in the next few days.
