L'église de l'Annonciation de Corte est une église de style baroque du XVe siècle associée à un campanile. Dédiée à l'Annonciation, elle est inscrite aux monuments historiques depuis le 2 mai 1973. En 1655 elle est remaniée et agrandie. Les chapelles du côté ouest sont abattues et remplacées par une nef latérale qui enclave le vieux clocher (campanile) dans la nouvelle construction. L'église abrite dans la chapelle latérale San Teòfalu, le gisant (effigie en cire du musée Grévin, 1979 - voir PIP 3) de Blaise de Signori, frère franciscain considéré comme le seul saint corse, reconnu comme patron de la Corse. Mobilier : L'église possède un orgue du XVIIIe siècle [PIP 2] dont la partie instrumentale a été classée à titre objet des monuments historiques le 11 septembre 1978. Une statue ainsi qu'un tableau San Teòfalu intercédant pour ses compatriotes auprès du Duc de Wurtenberg, donné par le Vatican, ornent la chapelle San Teòfalu. The church of the Annunciation of Corte is a 15th century baroque church associated with a bell tower (PiP #4). Dedicated to the Annunciation, it has been listed as a historic monument since 2 May 1973. In 1655 it was redesigned and enlarged. The chapels on the west side are demolished and replaced by a side nave which enclaves the old bell tower in the new construction. The church shelters in the side chapel San Teòfalu, the lying (wax effigy of the Grévin museum, 1979 - See PIP #3) of Blaise de Signori, Franciscan brother considered as the only Corsican saint, recognized as patron saint of Corsica. Ancienne chapelle de confrérie, datée de 1634, de style baroque italien, la chapelle se situe sous la citadelle, en haut de la rampe Sainte-Croix partant du cours Paoli. L'édifice religieux est inscrit depuis le 6 septembre 1985 Monument Historique pour ses somptueux décors extérieurs et ses précieuses fresques intérieures. La chapelle recèle deux œuvres inscrites aux monuments historiques : un orgue de tribune et la tribune d'orgue, du XIXe siècle (voir PIP).
