This road to the Revash mausoleums wasn´t quite finished when we were there in 2008. In 2010 with the financial assistance of the State and the inhabitants , all of the 1.5 km to the Mausoleums were paved with local stones . The last part is still an earth trek

You can drive up to San Bartolo, the village on the way to Revash with a 4 x4 . There was a dirt trail to the mausoleums but now the whole village is working hard to make a better road there..

To get to the mausoleums ("chullpas") you have to walk a long and strenuous nearly 2 kms from the nearest village . The funerary complex is 2,800 m above sea level.
