Topaz Internment Camp 1239a

Model of a typical block of barracks. This model, and the adjacent interior pictures, are from a restored barracks at the Great Basin Museum in Delta, Utah (see www.greatbasinheritage.org/gbmuseum.htm ). As the water stains on this model illustrate, the museum has funding problems. It was, however, a wonderfully detailed museum with artifacts from throughout the Delta area and a very friendly, and eager to talk, staff. (see adjacent photos of Topaz (Utah) Internment Camp)

"I'm your best friend, I'll never let you down, I am your Lucky Strike." The language of the ad seems hideous by modern standards.
