CA-33 between Lockwood Valley Rd and Ojai 1/13/11 update: While this tunnel was built during the period covered by the CCC and WPA, I could find no documentation that either had a hand in building it. CA-33 has had various names in the past, most significantly having been US-399 when it was designed as a key north-south route for the state. CA-33 is also in various places called "Maricopa Highway". The tunnel is the North Matilija tunnel.
