Been so busy working on the photos from my Uists holiday I almost forgot I'd taken this shot. Some nights the light just works out nicely!

This is an unusual sight for around here - a Calmac ferry arriving at Leith. She is here for a service rather than on operational duties, which mainly involves taking people over to Islay, something she did for us a few years back. The Carrie B, a much more regular sight, is seen coming back to Newhaven harbour in the foreground.

Seacliff harbour, constructed in 1890, is believed to be the smallest harbour in the UK, measuring 12m across at its widest and 2m at its entrance. Tantallon castle is visible in the distance.
