Thursday 29 January 2015 (1151) – Stagecoach East introduced some new Plaxton Elite bodied Volvo B11R on the Cambridge-Oxford service X5 in early January 2015. 54302 (YX64 WCE) had just arrived in Bedford bus station when working the 1010 departure from Cambridge – running a little late, it should have arrived at 1119 continuing at 1130. We travelled on the service from St. Neots. The service is licensed in four segments to enable drivers to work under UK Domestic Driving Rules. (Oxford-Buckingham/Buckingham-Milton Keynes/Milton Keynes-St Neots/St Neots-Cambridge). The destination display shows 'Milton Keynes for Oxford' reflecting the fact that Milton Keynes is the ‘boundary’ of one of the segments as well as showing the ultimate destination.

Thursday 29 January 2015 (1109) – Stagecoach East introduced some new Plaxton Elite bodied Volvo B11R on the Cambridge-Oxford service X5 in early January 2015. An interior shot on board 54302 (YX64 WCE) as it queued in traffic in Cambridge Street, St. Neots when working the 1010 departure from Cambridge – running about 20 minutes late.

Thursday 29 January 2015 (1112) – Stagecoach East introduced some new Plaxton Elite bodied Volvo B11R on the Cambridge-Oxford service X5 in early January 2015. This is a USB/mobile phone/computer plug in point located between the seats. There is also three pin power socket in the wall by each double seat for the power supply. This is on board 54302 (YX64 WCE) working the 1010 departure from Cambridge to Oxford.
