Wednesday 6 April 2011 - Two Burtons Coaches (Yellow Star Travel) Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Darts seen in Mildenhall bus station between trips on their service 16 from Bury St Edmunds which was introduced on Monday 4 April 2011. Possibly leased. KU52 YKK nearest the camera which was new in October 2002 to Frank Thorpe and Sons of Wembley, London. (I think the other bus was KU52 YKH).

Thursday 27 May 2010 (0857) – Since the Haverhill operation of Burtons Coaches was bought back from Arriva/Tellings ownership by its original management, a number of new coaches have entered the fleet like this Irizar PB bodied Scania. Burtons Coaches is the trading name of Yellow Star Travel Services Limited and the names of stars or constellations are carried on the coaches. PB10 BCL, seen at Bury St Edmunds bus station, is named ‘Atria’ (a contraction of the stellar designation ‘Alpha Trianguli Australis’which is a star in the constellation ‘Triangulum Australe’).

Friday 27 May 2011 (0947) - Burtons Coaches (Yellow Star Travel) went into administration during this week. P167 BTV, a Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian, also failed and blocked three bays in Bury St Edmunds bus station. The bus was new as Derby City Transport 167 in September 1996. The Burtons operation was subsequently rescued by Stephensons of Essex Limited.
